Please forward any references available. If there are none, I can work with written description; however I will try to communicate and send as many WIP screenshots as needed to get as accurate of a representation as possible.

I will try to directly color pick from references and work with what is given.

I will gladly send WIP screenshots when asked.

I will correct mistakes so long as they are pointed out within the first week after receiving the commission. Depending on the mistake (whether it was on my part by misinterpreting/misreading, for example), I will correct them with no problem.

I follow references as closely as possible. Anything that is not on the references given must be described when giving me information. Otherwise, I will not add content I was not aware of when using the references given.

I will not redraw a commission from scratch.

I will not do art of stolen designs. Gift art is fine so long as you inform me who the owner is so I can verify.

I reserve the right to cancel service to rude or disrespectful customers.

I reserve the right to deny commission requests and reserve the right to not specify why.

All discussions relating to the commission requested must be done privately (dA notes, Discord private messaging, etc.)

You are by no means allowed to trace, remove my signature, or otherwise modify the art. The commissioner may also not crop or repost on social media without my permission. You may especially not use the work in merchandising/profit off of it, nor may you claim credit as your own.

If you have my permission to repost the work, you must credit me.

Using the piece as a lock screen/wallpaper/etc is allowed. Reposting the image on Toyhou.se is also allowed so long as you credit my user (I am corvid-corrosion on Toyhou.se).

I own full rights to the work unless agreed upon by myself and the commissioner.

I reserve the right to post the finished commission on my own social media. If the commissioner would like the art to remain private, you must specify when requesting the commission. If I am to keep the piece private, then the commissioner must as well.

The commissioner is not entitled to the .mdp, .clip, or other format of the piece which contains layers.

No one, whether they are the commissioner or not, is entitled to use my art for minting into "non-fungible tokens", or "NFT"s, nor is anyone entitled to use my work for the promotion of such. I want nothing to do with NFTs.

Similarly, I do not want my art used for the training of "AI Art" and associated programs.

I require at least half of the payment to be made upfront before I begin the commission. I must agree to the commission before you send payment; do not send me money first before I have the ability to accept or deny your request, I will refund it.

I take USD via PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo only. I prioritize using PayPal so I can write a formal invoice, but if you do not have a PayPal, the other options are fine.

If the payment is not sent 48 hours after I have accepted the commission request, I will cancel the commission.

If there is a specific deadline you want the finished piece by, you must tell me so I can work towards the deadline. Otherwise, you will get the commission whenever it's done, depending on my personal schedule.

If I fail to meet a proposed deadline, I will refund your payment.

If you unexpectedly cancel the commission, I reserve the right to decide whether or not a refund is necessary. I may send a refund as well as the incomplete piece depending on the circumstances and reason given.

Do not remove credit from the design you purchased! If you upload any art I made of the design on any platform, credit me to my toyhou.se or any other account I have on the designated platform.

I will send you a copy of the unwatermarked design after purchase. Again, remember to credit me when you post it anywhere!

You are free to modify the design after purchase. Clothing changes, hair, palette swap, whatever, just don't edit the base art aside from palette changes. I will happily do commission work of the design with a 20% discount if you want more art of the design!

The above discount applies to the current owner of the design. If Person A buys the design off of me, then sells/gives it to Person B, then Person B is entitled to the 20% discount.

You are free to use these designs in independent work (comics, TTRPGs/RP, etc.). Just remember to credit me! If you commercialize the design by creating or selling merch, please credit me as well.

You are free to sell or transfer the design to another person. Just remember that all rules here apply to them as well once they receive the design.

Alt designs/AUs are welcome! Any art you get of the design is welcome! I like to check in every so often and see what people have done with something I've made, so don't feel shy about showing me :]
